Postdoctoral Position in Melnick Lab (Epigenetic Mechanism, Signaling Pathways and Cancer)

Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a highly motivated professional PhD for a Postdoctoral position to explore the interface between epigenetic mechanism, signaling pathways and cancer. The work will be performed under the supervision of Dr. Ari Melnick, Professor of Medicine.  Skills in epigenetic research, chromatin, biochemistry and genomic assays are required.  The applicant is expected to be an independent thinker and the highest profession skills. The applicant would be joining a highly supportive and interactive research team including cancer biologists, immunologists, hematopathologists, and computational biologists.

Job Requirements

PhD degree with experience in standard and specialized laboratory skills including epigenomic assays, data analysis skills, as well as and molecular biology and genetic systems such as CRISPR, shRNA, etc.  

Manuscript writing and presentations in meetings will be required. 

The candidate should be self-motivated, with a proven track record of productivity.

Appointments are for one year, with renewal based upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.
