Postdoctoral Position in Diabetes

We are seeking highly motivated scientists with a strong background in metabolism and/or cell biology. The Son Lab’s research focuses on the intersections of metabolic disease, gene regulation, and multi-omics. Our goal is to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic disorders and identify potential therapeutic targets. In particular, we are interested in understanding how environmental cues, such as nutrients and exercise, rewire gene expression profiles that contribute to metabolic diseases, with a focus on diabetes. If you would like to learn more about our research, please see here. The postdoctoral scientist will lead a cutting-edge research program in metabolism, utilizing genetic and pharmacological approaches, scRNA-Seq, nanopore sequencing, multiple diabetic mouse models, and human samples. If you are interested, please send your CV, a cover letter with a summary of your previous experience and future interests, and the contact information of three references.
