As a Postdoctoral Associate, you will be working on a project related to [1) ownership structures of nursing homes, home health agencies, and hospices and the quality and cost of care; and (2) care transitions in post-acute and long-term care settings. You will be responsible for conduct quantitative research using large, health insurance claims-based analytic files, completing literature reviews for associated projects, and contributing to the writing of manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate has:
- A PhD in health services research, health economics, health policy, or a closely related field
- Experience conducting research using large administrative data such as insurance claims
- Strong econometric analysis skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
At least two references will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and interest in aging-related research.
