AT&T

Health & Fitness 

Citi Bike Membership Discount

WCM will contribute to the cost of an annual Citi Bike membership for faculty and staff. You can access the city-wide bike share program at a reduced annual rate of $110, with WCM covering the remainder of the yearly membership cost. 

How does the Citi Bike program work?

  • Unlock a bike from one of the hundreds of Citi Bike stations around Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Jersey City.
  • Ride your bike for unlimited 45-minute increments.
  • The first 45 minutes of each ride are included in the annual membership price. After 45 minutes, additional fees will be applied to your method of payment.
  • End your ride by returning your bike to any Citi Bike station. Slide and lock your bike into an empty dock.

To Join:

  1. Go to https://citibikenyc.com/b4b-signup and click Sign Up Now.
  2. Click Log In or Join. (If you already have a Lyft account, log in using that account.)
  3. Click Enter promo code.
  4. Enter promo code wcm72ny4 in the pop-up and click Done.
  5. Enter your WCM email address and click Verify. (Citi Bike will send you an email to complete the verification.)
  6. Once complete, you will see the discounted membership price.
  7. Finish checkout.

Global Fit/Aetna Member Reimbursement Program

Global Fit/Aetna is an annual member reimbursement program that allows reimbursement of up to $300 per year (split into $150 for each 6-month period) for eligible fitness activities for WCM employees. (Family members of WCM employees are not eligible to participate in the program.) The program works by submitting proof of purchase to Global Fit/Aetna.

Child Care

Lightbridge Academy Corporate Advantage Program

WCM faculty and staff are eligible for discounts on day child care, preschool, and summer camp programs from Lightbridge Academy at any of their over 50 locations. Note that proof of employment at Weill Cornell Medicine is required to receive the discount on their full-day programs:

  • Single child: 5% off
  • Two children: 10% off for the oldest child, the youngest child pays full tuition
  • Three children: 10% off for the oldest child, plus 5% off each additional child

Back-up care is offered on a space-available basis at the cost of $100 per day. Please call your preferred center location for availability.
