The Drukier Institute for Children’s Health at Weill Cornell Medicine is committed to patient-centered research and superb educational programs. Our mission is to accelerate research discovery from the bedside to the bench and back with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of children.

The Pascual Lab is recruiting postdoctoral fellows interested in utilizing systems biology approaches to study pediatric autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Systemic-onset Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and Juvenile Dermatomyositis. The projects integrate immunology with molecular/cellular biology and bioinformatics to address important questions regarding disease pathogenesis and identification novel biomarkers as therapeutic targets.

We seek motivated researchers that have strong experience in immunology and systems biology. The candidate is also expected to have (a) strong written and verbal communication skills, (b) an ability to establish clear goals and to organize and prioritize work, and (c) the ability and willingness to work with a diverse team of clinicians and scientists, including postdocs, students and technicians. We emphasize motivation and productive work in a collegial environment and an opportunity for translational and clinical collaborations.

Applicants must document their success during their PhD or MD/PhD training or initial postdoctoral studies by first-author publications in reputable journals.

Salary for this position ranges from $58,500 - $66,538. Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full‐time employment not including benefits, bonuses, or clinical incentive compensation where applicable.
