Postdoctoral Position Available in the Outtz Reed Lab

The Outtz Reed lab studies the role of the lymphatic vasculature in lung disease at Weill Cornell Medicine. Our lab uses mouse models of lung injury to examine how the lymphatic endothelium affects the response to lung injury. We also use human lung samples to translate our findings into understanding the human disease process. We are looking for scientists who are looking to take an active role in the growth of our research program. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic about science with a strong work ethic. Job Requirements

Ph.D or M.D./Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, or immunology. Qualified candidates will have experience in mouse breeding and dissection, immunohistochemistry, cell culture, qPCR, western blot, flow cytometry, and microscopy. Experience in vascular biology is preferred but not required. Please send cover letter, CV, and 3 references.

 

Salary for this position ranges from $58,500 - $66,538. Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
